Amelia River & Amelia River Sunset

Amelia River

Bordering the west side of Amelia Island is the Intracoastal Waterway, the Amelia River. Paddlers embark on our 2-hour guided tour from Fernandina Beach to get a front and center view of our beautiful scenic area, with an opportunity to see wading birds, ospreys, eagles, dolphins, and manatees, depending on the season. We will skirt undeveloped shores of nearby islands, as well. This is a tour that offers paddlers an excellent time of getting “out and about” while experiencing the great outdoors.

Amelia River Sunset

An awesome addition to our line of guided kayak tours is the Amelia River Sunset Tour. Watching the sunset from near the downtown Fernandina Beach marina on Amelia Island is becoming quite popular with visitors and locals alike.

Depending on the current, we’ll paddle north or south on this river, with Amelia Island’s fabulous sunset at our shoulder. We’ll arrive in style near the marina, where you have the opportunity to explore our beautiful historic downtown area after the tour.
